This page explains how to permanently delete your OLENRI account and the personal data associated with it, in accordance with the Google Play User Data policy, the Apple App Store guidelines, and applicable privacy laws (GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA).

Quick request (no app required): if you cannot access the OLENRI app, email olenrisupport@gmail.com from the address linked to your OLENRI account with the subject "OLENRI account deletion request". We verify ownership and delete your account within 30 days.

1. How to request deletion

You have two ways to delete your OLENRI account and the data associated with it.

Option A — In the OLENRI app (recommended)

Open the OLENRI app on your device.
Tap the profile / menu icon and go to Settings.
Open the Account section.
Tap Delete account.
Read the on-screen warning and confirm in the dialog.
The deletion request is registered immediately. You are signed out and returned to the welcome screen, your account becomes inaccessible from the app, and it is scheduled for permanent purge.

To protect against accidental taps, OLENRI keeps a 15-day recovery grace window during which you can sign in again to restore the account (your original data returns unchanged). After the 15-day window expires, the account and all data listed in section 2 are permanently and irreversibly purged from the OLENRI production database.

Option B — Email request (if you cannot sign in)

Send an email from the address associated with your OLENRI account to olenrisupport@gmail.com.
Use the subject line: OLENRI account deletion request.
In the body, state that you want your OLENRI account and personal data deleted.
We verify ownership by replying to the email address on file. Once ownership is confirmed, deletion is completed within 30 days and you receive a confirmation email.

2. What data is permanently deleted

When your account is deleted (either method), the following data is permanently removed from the OLENRI production database and from primary backups on the next rotation:

Your account record: email, hashed password, OAuth identifiers (Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In), display name, locale, time zone.
All clarity sessions and decision reports you created.
All Weekly Mirror entries and follow-ups linked to your account.
Your Identity Card, values, and any personal context you saved (preferences, recurring decisions, life events).
Conversation history, prompts, and AI responses associated with your account.
Voice input transcripts and TTS preferences (raw voice recordings are already deleted immediately after transcription — see section 3).
Authentication artefacts: refresh tokens, one-time passcodes, password-reset tokens.
Subscription and entitlement metadata stored inside OLENRI (the payment processor — Google Play or Apple — manages its own transaction records separately, as required by applicable financial law).
Push-notification tokens registered to your account (via Emergent (push notification delivery)).
Any client-side session data, once you sign in again with a new account or uninstall the app.

3. What data may be retained, and for how long

A small amount of data may be retained after deletion, only where we have a legitimate or legal obligation. Each item below is anonymised or kept in tamper-resistant storage and is not used to re-identify you.

None of the retained items contain your clarity sessions, prompts, AI responses, voice transcripts, or Identity Card content — those are wiped at the moment of account deletion.

4. Third-party services we actually use

OLENRI relies on a small, deliberate set of third-party processors. The same set is declared in the OLENRI Google Play Data Safety form and the OLENRI Privacy Policy. When you delete your account, we also instruct these processors to delete or anonymise your data on their side, in line with their own data-deletion policies.

OpenAI (accessed via the Emergent LLM proxy) — provides GPT-based language understanding, Whisper speech-to-text and text-to-speech. Your prompts, transcribed audio and generated content are sent to OpenAI only for the duration of generating your reply. Under the OpenAI API terms applicable to the Emergent LLM proxy, this content is not used to train OpenAI models.
Sentry — crash and performance monitoring. The Sentry SDK ships with sendDefaultPii: false and an explicit scrubber that strips email, IP, name, phone, chat content, transcripts, audio and prompt/response bodies before events leave the device.
RevenueCat — subscription-entitlement management. Receives only a pseudonymous user ID, product IDs and purchase timestamps.
Emergent (push notification delivery) — delivers the push notifications you have opted in to. Receives your device push token and a pseudonymous user ID.

OLENRI does not use Google Firebase, Google Analytics, Crashlytics, Facebook SDK, TikTok SDK, or any advertising / attribution SDK.

5. Children

OLENRI is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child's data has been collected, contact olenrisupport@gmail.com and we will delete it without requiring an account.

6. Your rights

Regardless of location, you may at any time:

Request a copy of the personal data OLENRI holds about you.
Correct inaccurate personal data.
Request erasure of your account and personal data (this page).
Object to processing where based on a legitimate interest.
Withdraw any consent you previously gave.
Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
